Don’t tread on me began on what’s known as the Gadsden flag which is credited to Christopher Gadsden, a soldier and politician from South Carolina. The tread in Gadsden’s defiant phrase, don’t tread on me, means “to step, walk, or trample so as to press, crush, or injure something.” And so, with the snakes tongue flicked, fangs out, and body coiled in defense, the rattlesnake (and motto) warns: “If you dare put your foot down on me, I will strike.”

I ordered three items before Christmas, one t-shirt, one men's sweatshirt and one ladies sweatshirt. They are perfect! The design is nice and all the items fit true to size.

Sizing

Size XL is a little smaller than what you would expect.
I bought a hoodie and my husband is a firefighter and in good shape but the size was a little tight.
